we finally did it people

 


the expedit shelves took about 2 hours to build. Two big guys on the bottom, and the wee ones up top.



I have never been one to lay things out and organize before doing. I usually just do. But with this much crap and cacti in the mix it was necessary.

Cacti (cactuses? cactusis? Cactusis sounds like a disease. like you ate a cactus and now you have cactusis of the stomach) at ikea are $2.99 a pop


gloves are dope for pulling out a cactus


and then you put them in mint julep cups your great grandmother won at dog shows.

they will be up on the bookshelves, son.

pinterest is a great place to figure out that like, 500 people had the same idea as you. Some of these ideas rock way harder than what I had originally pictured, so.. It's a great source for inspiration. if you aren't already on pinterest, you should join and pin pin pin. but you probably are. so nevermind. if you're not, ask me for an invite. I might give you one.

So a couple things.

sorry about the lack of postage up here. You might care, you might not, but I think the fact that my last post was about cats riding roombas deserves some sort of apology.

Second, take a looksie at your www bar up top where you write things like "google" and "how do i steam an artichoke"..... DAS RIGHT it says BELLADWELLA.COM. I bought it.. a little merry christmas to myself.

now onto the things that matter. we are seriously definitely finally working on our living room.. and I think this might just be the first thing to happen.

But this copy cat bad boy is only $299 (naughty Ikea!)



Both rugs are priced at 8X11 (which has 5 panels instead of 3).

Mybestfriendmolly (That is how I refer to her out loud, so it's how you have to hear it too..) found great things at Ikea to decorate her new and fabulous LA apartment.

it's really salmi and nandor, but Ikealanguage drives me up a wall. I have a hard enough time with englizsh as it is.
