I'm loving the look of the old Herman Miller chairs in the kitchen. They can be easily wiped down, and look like they could "contain a kid," as we'll need them to once we move Lulu out of her high chair.
This one's legit, and is from 1st Dibs.
Initially I found these Eames shell chair knock offs on Amazon:
But today I stumbled on THESE from World Market completely by accident. They're like the fat & lovable friend of the knockoff Eames chair.
Ughh I just love them. I do worry about the upholstery situation in a kitchen, but perhaps a little scotch-guard will do the trick? Anyone ever tried that?
I am so glad to see this post.

I love this! I have been following the progress on Instagram. Love that you tried something different than reupholstering which can be such a daunting task to so many people wanting to change the look of a chair! Great unique idea!
