my mom's electrical problem

First of all, this looks like a homemade bomb. I am telling the TSA!

But I found these which might help:

    Thank you, Belladwella, for that tip. How about instead of me going out buying that, YOU work instead on inventing wireless everything - Christmas lights, computer cords, hair dryers, landlines, irons, lamps, the list is endless. Thank you!
